Wilson Makes Enhancements to its Popular Golf Ball
Wilson Sporting Goods has announced an upgrade to Duo Soft. The company did internal testing against leading competitors at its Innovation Center in Illinois and those tests concluded that Duo Soft is the world’s softest golf ball. Driving improved distance is a new core formulation that is engineered to deliver faster ball speeds with the same soft feel.
“Wilson introduced the low compression golf ball category nearly 20 years ago, and this improved version ball exemplifies that we continue to lead in innovation for every golfer who values long, straight distances with a remarkably soft feel,” said Tim Clarke, President of Wilson Golf. “This new Duo Soft golf ball delivers incredible performance, premium, soft feel, and a great price compared to similar competitive golf balls.”
Testing shows that competitive soft golf balls do not have lower compression and the lowest driver spin off the tee, according to tests performed at the company’s test facility in Humboldt, Tennessee.
Its unique construction delivers long and stable flight that helps golfers find more fairways, allowing for better iron and wedge spin to attack more pins.
