The Landings Deer Creek Course Review

Just south of downtown Savannah, Georgia is Skidaway Island, encircled by rivers and creeks. Skidaway is broken up into three main sections, with the largest being The Landings Community.

The Landings is home to The Landings Golf and Athletic Club, offering six outstanding golf courses, clubhouses and an array of other sporting and social venues.

In 1991, golf course architect Tom Fazio was hired to create the Deer Creek Course, and when it opened it was considered one of the best golf courses in the U.S.

The Deer Creek Course is home the Club Car Championship, a stop on the Korn Ferry Tour.

The Deer Creek Course is a second shot golf course, and at times a third shot golf course.

The fairways are pretty wide, with plenty of room to to move the ball.

The green surrounds on the Deer Creek Course really make this golf course something special and it’s going to change how you played play your whole round.

The putting surfaces themselves are average in size with subtle movements throughout.
