Alexis Belton Helps Charities Raise Money

Alexis Belton is the third-ranked woman on the World Long Drive Tour and a former PGA WORKS Collegiate Championship winner.

A chance opportunity in high school started Belton’s career and she has been in love with the game ever since. But it was the PGA WORKS Collegiate Championship that opened her eyes to the number of minorities in the game.

“It was the most comfortable I’ve ever felt in golf,” Belton said. “I felt like I could be myself walking on the course. It was an event in itself that helped me love the game to a deeper level.”

The experience and victory in the 2013 championship gave her a greater perspective on the individuals growing the game and made a lasting impact on her career.

“The culture of golf, although it is evolving and changing, can be a little intimidating,” Belton said. “That tournament was really big to see that there are other people like me and see the people who came before me. It was one of the highlights of my entire career playing golf.”

Alexis Belton was most recently a tour player on the Women’s Australian Tour, LPGA Epson Tour and World Long Drive Tour. She just finished her career on the World Long Drive Tour as #1 American and #3 in the world.

Alexia Belton is a current women’s mental health advocate and works hard to make the game of golf accessible for everyone. Alexis is available for speaking engagements, events, grand openings, golf tournaments, and more.
