The Colony Golf and Country Club

The Colony Golf and Country Club

Designed by renowned golf course architect and former U.S. Open champion Jerry Pate, this 18-hole, par-72 championship golf course at The Colony Golf and Country Club is distinguished by its sweeping Paspalum fairways spanning approximately 6,700 yards. Pate’s masterpiece winds through the community lending spectacular water and preserve views.

Golf Members enjoy plentiful tee times as well as a fun, engaging calendar of regular Men’s Days, Lady’s Days, Couples events, and competitive tournaments and championships.

The Colony Golf and Country Club’s low-density golf membership allows golfers to play when they want, without a Chelsea system for tee times!

Both The Colony’s clubhouse and golf course were fully renovated in 2017. The project included replacing the entire playing surface with Platinum Paspalum from the tees to the greens.

The salt-tolerant Platinum Paspalum, designed for premium playing conditions in sunny Southwest Florida and along the Gulf of Mexico, retains its moisture and vibrant green, lush cushion of turf year-round. This allows the ball to always sit up, and you’ll never have a bad lie!

With six tees to choose from, players of all handicaps at The Colony Golf and Country Club will find the course challenging and enjoyable to play.
