Kinderlou Forest is a fantastic Davis Love III design.
Deep within the Georgia coastal plain lies endless stretches of pine forests, along with strands of dense hardwoods.
On a 5000-acre parcel of land just west of Valdosta, noted PGA Tour player Davis Love III was given carte blanche to carve out a golf course at Kinderlou Forest that fits perfectly within the lay of the land.
Heralded as one of the top public courses in America when it opened back in 2004, Kinderlou Forest today remains one of the finest layouts you can play anywhere in the Southeast.
The routing of this course, together with its unrivaled playing conditions, really puts Kinderlou Forest in a class by itself when it comes to upscale daily fee golf in the state of Georgia.
Love and his design team created a golf course here at Kinderlou Forest where no two holes are the same and few if any, homes encroach upon the course itself. So, from your first tee shot at hole number one through your final putt, at hole number 18, you are treated to a true championship-style layout.
From 2007 through 2014, Kinderlou Forest played host to the South Georgia Classic on the Web.com Tour.
”It's a long course and in fact, the WEB.com tour played here for eight years, and they wouldn't play the back tees all the way around.
Bill Robinson, PGAGeneral Manager
Now, with its six sets of tees, you can choose just how much of a challenge you want in your round. For the very good ball striker Kinderlou Forest stretches out to nearly 7,800 yards from the back Black tees while offering a course rating of 77.3 and a slope of 143. The mid-level handicap player will find both a challenging and fun golf course at 6,461 yards from the Blue tees.
Kinderlou Forest is located in Valdosta, Georgia, and features 18 holes of some of the best golf you’ll find anywhere in the Peachtree state. It’s a must-play, that should be on every golfer’s bucket list.
